Teachers Union Lays Off 40 Percent of Staff
The Walkeristas all believe that by laying off teachers, they're saving teachers' jobs.
So, the analogy must work, right?
Let's see: by cutting spending on education, they're saving education. By destroying American infrastructure, they're saving American infrastructure. By destroying the village, they'll save the village.
Yep, now it tracks. I thought it sounded familiar.

Read it more carefully. They aren't laying off teachers, they are laying off union staff. Generally, removing leeches is good for the health of the host. The teachers will be fine. Now would be a good time for teachers to apologize to Governor Walker and thank him for saving and strengthening the teaching profession in Wisconsin. Nothing fancy, they could just say something simple and to the point like, "We were wrong. We were stupid. We behaved childishly. Thank you for trimming back the union overlords who were involuntarily extorting money from us and the education system."

Leech? Then the NRA and WI Manufacturing Association association administrators are leaches too?
"Now would be a good time for teachers to apologize to Governor Walker and thank him for saving and strengthening the teaching profession in Wisconsin."
Apologize for taking 8-10+% pay cuts, a loss of voice in the workplace, and then some? Apologize for taking increased workloads?
"Thank you for trimming back the union overlords who were involuntarily extorting money from us and the education system."
You do not know what you are talking about. "Overlords? In an association no more and no less democratic than out state government?
"...involuntarily extorting money from us..." Same as the police, fireman, city and county road workers? You want all the services with no taxes and fees?
Who's the leech?
